Alas, this is the end of the VillaWeb. No, there has been no aggravation or foul play, and neither does it have to do with domain trouble this time. For the first time, I'm quite simply tired of the job, and at the same time, I simply can't draw the crowd that I used to do.

Stats from my ISP show me, that I can't obtain more than 30 visitors a day (and that's on a good one!), and this simply isn't enough for me to keep up the motivation. I know this is mainly due to the vast amount of commercial quality sites out there, which are all updated hourly. I can't keep up with this, and at the same time, I can't find the enthusiasm for the VillaWeb that I used to have. Such is life, I guess. My love for Aston Villa hasn't deteriorated, I assure you.

It's been 10½ very good years, and of course, I haven't made this decision without hesitation. I trust that people will understand this, and I thank my loyal visitors for all the good years.
